Kavouras
Greek Traditional Tavern - New Port of Skiathos
Welcome to Traditional Fish Restaurant Kavouras, one of the most historic gastronomic destinations in Skiathos, built in the new port of the island, where the gaze is lost in the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. With roots that reach back to the mid-1950s, Kavouras began as a humble cafe and pastry shop, to evolve over the years into an authentic seafood restaurant in Skiathos, honoring the tradition, flavors and hospitality of Greece.
The heart of our menu beats between the two great loves of the Greek table: traditional Greek cuisine and fresh fish and seafood. Here you will enjoy authentic recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, such as homemade moussaka, ladera, fava beans, eggplant salad and zucchini meatballs, all made with local, pure ingredients. At the same time, our cuisine is famous for the variety and quality of seafood: squid, octopus, shrimp, grilled fish and traditional fish soups come daily from the island's waters and are cooked with simplicity and respect for the raw material.
